The Advisor will provide confidential, impartial guidance to help you understand the options available for resolving the situation informally and making a formal complaint to help you decide what to do.
We will ask you to provide your name or email address so that the Harassment Advisor is able to contact you.
This tool is for non-emergency disclosures only.
- If you are in immediate danger, please call the Emergency Services on 999.
- If you are the victim of a crime, please also contact the Police.
Generally, the University will not take further steps such as investigating a named report or passing information onto third parties without your permission for this action. Information contained in your report will only be shared on a strictly need to know basis. However, as set out in the University’s
Harassment Policy (under paragraph 20), there may be circumstances in which the nature of the issues reported are such the University may be required to take further action, even in the absence of a formal complaint. Please see the
privacy notice for more information.
The report should take around 5 - 10 minutes to complete, depending on the level of detail you provide. You can read more about what happens after you submit a report on our
support pages. There are questions that are optional, including demographic questions, which help us to understand staff experiences but if you don't want to answer them, you can skip ahead to the next question.
